Hey man, I have started reading DCL, and what made me stop were the chapter breaks.
Obviously, things like this happen every day in TV; but here in DCL, it doesn’t need to be like that.
The first chapter breaks up in a way that makes me stop reading it and forget about it, and what happened to Steiner Station and the others of the survivors of the Nexus. I get too caught up in playing this game, that i think the storytelling is a little rushed.
It is a good point, but in a story of this size, the last second “oh something gacksy bad happened” are pretty harmless, even if they might make the reader think “man, this author just doesn’t care about my story”
I think when it comes to slow-mo, the author really just wants you to take everything in; come to the table with questions, and not have something hit you out of the blue, in a chunk of views.
